By using the TeleVet UK website (https://televet.uk) and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
Our services are intended for users aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may not register for or use our services.
2. Description of Service
TeleVet UK provides online veterinary teleadvice services designed to give pet owners access to trusted, top-rated veterinarians via secure video consultations.
Please note:
We do not provide telemedicine services.
We cannot prescribe medications.
We do not provide pet insurance.
⚠️ Important: TeleVet UK is not a substitute for in-clinic veterinary care. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, you must seek immediate in-person veterinary attention.
Our service includes:
20-minute video consultations via Zoom
Professional advice and guidance from trusted veterinarians
Written consultation reports via email
Access to educational pet care resources
3. Jurisdictional Limitations
Our services are not designed to comply with certain industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA). If your interactions are subject to such laws, you may not use our services.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Our Intellectual Property
We own or control all intellectual property rights in our services, including source code, databases, software, website design, audio, video, text, graphics, and logos (collectively, “Content” and “Marks”). These are protected under copyright and trademark law.

6.2 Appropriate Use
You agree to use our service only for legitimate veterinary advice. You acknowledge that teleadvice has limitations and cannot replace in-person care.
6.3 Emergencies
You understand our service is not suitable for emergencies. You are responsible for seeking immediate veterinary care in urgent cases.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
Collect data or content for unauthorized purposes
Mislead or defraud us or other users
Circumvent or interfere with security features
Harass, threaten, or abuse others
Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful content
Impersonate another person or user
Disrupt service operations or burden our systems
Use the services for competitive or commercial purposes without permission
8. User-Generated Contributions
8.1 Content You Submit
Our services may allow you to post or share content (“Contributions”).
8.2 License to Use
By posting Contributions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, store, and distribute your content.
8.3 Content Standards
You agree your Contributions will not be false, misleading, obscene, harassing, illegal, or infringe on third-party rights.
9. Purchases and Payments
9.1 Payment Terms
Standard consultation fee: $29.95 USD per 20-minute session
Payment due at booking
Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, American Express, Discover
All charges in USD (taxes may apply)
9.2 Payment Processing
You agree to provide accurate payment details. Payment is processed through trusted third-party providers.
10. Refund Policy
Payments are non-refundable.
However, if you are dissatisfied with a consultation, we may provide a follow-up session with another veterinarian at no additional cost, limited to the same concern as the original consultation.
11. Scheduling and Cancellations
Booking: Appointments must be booked in advance.
Your Cancellations:
Cancel/reschedule up to 2 hours before the session.
Less than 2 hours’ notice = fee may be forfeited.
No-shows = full fee forfeited.
Our Cancellations:
If we cancel, we will notify you and offer rescheduling or a free follow-up.
12. Video Consultations
Platform: Conducted via Zoom. Zoom Privacy Policy applies.
Recordings: Sessions may be recorded for training, quality, and record-keeping. Stored securely, accessible only to authorized staff.
13. Service Limitations and Professional Disclaimers
Our veterinarians cannot:
Perform physical exams
Run diagnostic tests (bloodwork, X-rays, etc.)
Provide definitive diagnoses for complex conditions
Prescribe medications
Deliver hands-on treatment
Consultations provide general advice and guidance only. They do not create an ongoing veterinarian-client-patient relationship and should not replace in-person veterinary care.
14. Privacy and Data

15. Third-Party Content
Our website may link to third-party sites or display third-party content. We are not responsible for their practices, accuracy, or policies.
